Technical Support Specialist – IT Department.  8:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F.   This is a full time position and will support all UOG Personal Computer related incidents, requests or changes in a multi-protocol network environment; considered an expert in desktop support.  Essential Responsibilities: installing & configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications, monitoring & maintaining computer systems and printers; talking staff/clients through a series of actions, troubleshooting system & network problems & diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults; replacing parts as required; providing support, including procedural documentation; following diagrams & written instructions for tasks; supporting the roll-out of new applications; setting up users’ accounts & profiles and dealing w/password issues; testing & evaluating new technology, etc.   Skills: Work independently & meet deadlines, support via email/phone, detail-oriented & organized, excellent communication skills verbal/written, and presentation skills.  Requirements: Minimum: 5 years experience as Help Desk Support Personnel, PC, and printer & software support.

 

Hourly-Non Exempt

Assembler II – Cold Therapy Department.  8:30 am – 5:00 pm.  Operator position to utilize a variety of assembly power tools, complex fixtures and riveting equipment to process components into sub-assemblies and finished products.  Must prepare and assemble product, maintain workflow in the specific area of responsibility and meet standard quality levels on prepared products.  This is a working position assisting in the operation and basic function of the department under the guidance of the department supervisor.  **Assembly experience required.

 

Customer Care Agent Full-Time (1) Customer Care Department.  Day Shift: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.  M-F.   Principal Accountabilities: Call center/customer care experience, team work attitude, stress tolerance in a dynamic environment, attention to detail and accuracy, self motivated, knowledge in orthopedics and sports medicine, and customer service oriented.  High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

 

Powder Coating Assistant – Powder Coating Department.  Night Shift: 5:00 pm – 1:30 pm.  Principle accountabilities: Work in dusty area, able to follow both written and verbal instructions, able to lift 60 + pounds, assist and fill in for Head Painter, utilize powder coater machine to coat orthopedic parts and ensure adequate quantities of necessary components are available for stock replenishment.  Powder Coating Assistant will notify Powder Coater or Supervisor of any product deficiencies.  Must also maintain workflow in specific area of responsibility and notify supervisor of any product flow issues.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.  No experience needed.  Training will be provided to the right candidate.  High School diploma or equivalent required.
